Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

For over a decade Okanagan Beach Rentals has offered stand up paddleboard rentals with an emphasis on providing

top notch service and terrific performing SUP equipment. Instruction on proper use is always included with our quality board rentals ensuring your best opportunity for a great SUP experience! Also, should you want to make paddleboarding

a regular water activity, we offer Frequent Rental Packages at substantial savings so you can affordably paddleboard to your heart's content. Our SUP rentals are first come, first served and reservations only required for larger groups.

organizations, kids clubs, outdoor clubs, birthday and bachelorette parties, SUP fitness/yoga classes, etc.

Stand_Up_Paddleboard_Lessons

SUP Discovery

SUP Discovery classes take place at Rotary Beach Park, Lakeshore Rd, Kelowna (dates to be determined).

Class minimum is 2 participants. Reservations are required.

This introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding will provide the basic skills for beginners as well as covering general SUP

equipment tips for future ownership. You'll learn how to carry, launch and properly stand on your board. We'll show you proper paddle strokes, turning strokes, how to paddle while kneeling and how to get back on your board should you fall.

Water safety and environment awareness are also covered.

Lesson is $65 (plus tax) per person and runs 1.5 hours.

Includes paddleboard, paddle, leash and PFD.

Class size limited to 6 persons. Reservations Required.

Arrive by 8:15 am to sign in. Lesson starts at 8:30.

Re-scheduling or refunds happily provided if class is

cancelled due to weather conditions.

Advanced_SUP_Lessons

Advanced SUP

Call to schedule a date & time for Advanced SUP lessons.

A Certified SUP instructor will help you refine your paddling skills through proper technique and body mechanics. Safety protocols, preparation and theory are examined to heighten efficiency and confidence in wind, waves and distance paddling. Surfing waves, foot work, pivot turns, edging and bracing will also be covered.

Lesson is $100 (plus tax) per person and runs 2 hours. Includes board, paddle, leash and PFD.

Class size limited to 3 persons. Reservations Required.

Re-scheduling or refunds happily provided if class is cancelled due to weather conditions.

Private Advanced SUP lessons also available.

Paddleboard Rentals

You can rent Stand Up Paddleboards from us in Kelowna, West Kelowna and Summerland.

We have a large selection of paddleboards ranging from kids 8' on up to 12' for the bigger paddlers. They provide great

stability, performance and fun!! From novice to experienced we know you'll love our boards! SUP rentals include a short

orientation, PFD, leash and preparing your board for launch.
